Want more time in your day to get things done? (doesn’t everyone?)
Here’s HOW I add1 hour to my day, get MORE done, and have time leftover to relax!!
- Move your cell phone out of your bedroom (yep – that’s right!) Put it in the bathroom or hallway at night…you’ll still be able to hear the alarm, but you won’t get sucked into checking your email or social media just before bed or first thing in the morning…trust me, this is amazing!!
- STOP hitting the Snooze Button! When the alarm goes off, count down backwards 5-4-3-2-1…Blast Off! Jump out of bed, turn off the alarm…and BAM! just like that you’re up!
- When you turn off the alarm, leave your phone on the bathroom counter. NO checking email or social media…you can do it. Really. It won’t kill you, I promise! Wash your face, go make a cup of coffee or tea, and leave the phone there.
- Start thinking about your day. What 1 or 2 things do you want to do just for YOU today? Exercise? Read a few pages out of a book? Meet a friend for lunch? Plan a date night with your partner? Just think about it….and then, you can do the same for work or your business…what 1 or 2 things do you want to do today to move you closer to your goal or meeting a deadline? 5. Then go write them down. Grab a note card or paper and write those things down. Why? Because people who write down things they want to do or goals are more than 90% more likely to achieve than people who don’t!! WOW! That’s Huge! Trust me, this works y’all! I’ve been doing it for a long time and so have the world’s most successful people. It’s simple, but Powerful! Keep that list in front of you, on your desk or close by so you can see it all day long. Doing so, keeps those things in the front of your mind and helps you stay on track (or get back on track)…it keeps you Focused on doing the things that are most important to you!
I challenge you to do an experiment this week friends. Just try these 5 simple steps (but only if you want to add more time to your day, decrease your stress, and hit your goals!). Listen to it as you drive to work, cook dinner, do laundry, or like me…by the pool for a few minutes in the afternoon (hey, it’s personal development, and I’m getting Vitamin D therapy in!) This will be the BEST Book you listen to this year and it’s the way to change your life for Good and get the things in life you want (and deserve)!
